Last week I posted one of my favorite poems but it definitely wasn't a very happy piece. This weekend I decided to watch one of my favorite movies and I was reminded of another one of my favorite poems and so that's going to be today's post. It is dedicated to any woman I've ever been in love with or may fall in love with in the future and all of my female loyal subjects. Enjoy.

When he did this poem in the movie he named it after a female he had just met so he was really setting himself up for failure if she had thought he was a lunatic or her man had been in the audience. So what's the craziest thing you've done for love?

The craziest thing I ever did for love? Geez, there have been so many ... I guess the craziest thing was to get married to a man that was too young and clearly not ready to be married.

the one thing i can think about is when I love someone I tend to think money is not a matter...i can remember twice spending a lot of dough on a man a i loved but was not in a relationship with them...one i bought a cell phone and paid his bill and the other a bought an expensive jacket that he liked for Christmas when we have only known each other for 9 months and were only friends...

The craziest thing that I did (I posted about it-Bonnie & Clyde) was when I put my freedom and my daughter's freedom in jeopardy because I was trying to save him. Ok, maybe that was just plain stupid but I did it out of love.

craziest thing....hmmm...i traveled 1000 miles, took 2 planes, missed one, got lost once in designated state, paid $50 for a cab ($30 too much) all to surprise my love just because...whom i told to expect a package from UPS, but really it was me.

@ Kween Yeah, I have been in one sided love, like where I love the guy, but he doesn't love me back (not real love to me), so I was never compelled to do anything crazy that I can think of in the name of love. But I can think of some crazy stuff I have done to a guy I thought was playing me, but I guess that is a different post! LOL!

I turned my back on my whole family for love and it was the worst mistake of my life.
I think that anyone who makes you choose between them and your family is not right. I made the same mistake and regretted it too.
i went down that road thinking my parents were trippin and they didn't understand my man at the time...but they were so right

never been forced to make that decision.. but i dont think that i would do that if it were presented

@ missy-well, i guess, but it didn't feel sweet, because of all the drama, my trip took 7 hours instead of 2 1/2, i looked a mess and i was tired & prolly funky too by the time i made it to the crib...but i meant well :-)

Crazy good- Every time her parents said something bad about me or hinted she shouldn't be with me she would call me and tell me nasty things she wanted to do to me in earshot of her parents. She'd usually do them too so that was crazy but good crazy.
Crazy bad- told me that the baby was mine!

Yeah yall kind of automatically went into crazy bad stuff. But there a good crazies too even if the person turned out to be a jerk.
sad thing is i can think of any good crazies that were done for me...the closest i can think off is when i crossed paths with a high school ex of mine and he was married, but found an bs reason to divorce his wife to have a shot with me...he claimed they always had problems and he never should've gotten married, but he spinned kicked the divorce process in overdrive when i told him i couldn't indulge in his "he always loved me and missed me stories" while he was married...didn't think he would actually do it
but that's not a good crazy...hmmmm, back to the drawing board

ok.. related.. a good crazy done for me.. i went to a xmas party w/ my brother in VA.. i sooo wanted to go home.. he got a room b/c he didnt want to drive back home highly under the influence.. GTL came to get me like 1 in the morning!

AH HA...a good crazy...how did i forget this...ok...i had a dude (the one I bought the phone for) plan in advance a dinner for us...like 3 weeks in advance, of course the day of i was still late...lol...he told me to go all out with my attire, so i did my hair up, make up and a banging dress and sexy heels...got there mad late (he was mad) but he was all decked out in a suit, shirt and tie, he cooked us dinner and served me and then after dinner, he played a movie Disappearing Acts (SHOUT TO WONDER), then pulled a mattress out to the living room for us to ummmm ya know...(AND ALL OF THIS WAS DONE AT HIS MOMMA HOUSE ONE WEEK SHE WAS OUT OF TOWN)...TTD you know this guy via basketball...

craziest thing i've done for love:
put my house up for the bond money to get my boyfriend at the time out of jail. then again, i'm not even sure if that was crazy really. aren't those the kinds of things a person does for someone they love?

the craziest thing i've done for love was move from hawaii to new york for someone i'd only kissed!
we had a good run though, a few years later i don't regret it at all!
