Maybe lil George just can't help being a complete and utter idiot. One has no control over whom one's parents is! In not so surprising news another Bush has made an insensitive and racist statement. It's like they don't even care if someone records them saying these things! Everyone knows her son is crooked as a barrel of fish hooks but few knew of her complete wackiness. In a radio interview she implied that the survivors of Hurricane katrina who are in the Astrodome are better off now that they are living in a freaking football stadium! This is what mom dukes had to say:
"What I'm hearing, which is sort of scary, is they all want to stay in Texas. Everyone is so overwhelmed by the hospitality..."
Close your mouth. Yep she actually said that ON THE RADIO! Oh but there's more. Please Mrs. Bush continue...

Boy this family just keeps getting better and better. What's so scary BB? The black population rising in your beloved state of Texas so much that it frightens you! Is that it? I guess I can understand your fear since your baby boy worked so hard to fry as many as he could in the electric chair while he was governor and now BAM they're baaaaack! Quick, hide the white women! They call her the former First Lady. I call her the current First Loser.
This is the woman that raised the president. Now that's whats scary! I urge all of you to keep your eyes on these crackers. There is a lot of good things going on right now because the cameras are still there but when no one is watching who knows what they'll do! Barbara Bush said "if a nigger...ahem..black person was on fire I wouldn't piss on them to put them out!"
Ok she didn't actually say that but at this point would you be surprised if she did?

Yeah, I heard about this and needless to say I was PISSED!!! What's really sad is that I don't even think she realizes how incredibly stupid she sounds. But Mark Twain said it best..."Better to keep your mouth closed and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt."
Hey, can you blame the woman for saying what is on her mind? Now, I am not pro-Bush. No, I don't like him or his administration. Well, all except for Mrs.Rice (I absolutely adore her). However, trust and believe what Mrs.Bush said is probably what alot of Texans are thinking. And let us not forget, she is from the older/elderly generation. Okay. They tell it like it is, they say what is on there mind and don't give a damn about what they say.
And not to ramble, but my grandmother told my sisters and I to buy a bag of beans and rice and eat on that until we could afford to purchase food cuz she wasn't sending us any money.
The bottomline is a lot of the older generations have more blunt and cold views on situations. However, that doesn't make it right. She obviously should have kept her comments to herself.

Not really about Bush, but I saw this today on ABC News:
"Sept. 9, 2005 — Federal Emergency Management Agency director Michael Brown, under criticism due to his management of Hurricane Katrina as well as reported discrepancies on his resume, is expected to be out as head of the agency very soon, informed sources have told ABC News."
You mentioned Brown a couple of days ago, so I started paying attention to him. Looks like a fall guy for me. Don't get me wrong, he probably should not have ever been at the FEMA post, but it looks like this will take the pressure off of Bush. And I like when there is pressure on Bush.
Leesa you are exactly right. They'll put all the blame on Brown and fire him and GWB gets away scott free. And let me add that the Mayor and Governor of Louisiana do bare some responsibilty as well.
