The Critic Sucks..

Hey everybody. Today's post will be short and sweet yet very powerful Whenever I start to get down on myself about my blog and just want to quit I am reminded of one of my favorite quotes...

This inspires me to keep going even when I think I just wrote some trash or I only have 2 comments. I hope that it can help to keep anybody reading this to keep going in those low moments and to even be a reminder when everything is going well. Your welcome.

Dang, I haven't been the first to comment in a minute :). That was actually really nice and so very true. Thanks for hipping me to that quote. It really encouraged me because I am going through something right now.

ddot: I am feeling similar to you, I think. I have made some sub-par stuff lately, and I have not had many respondents as well. Just wondering if it is worth it.

I agree with Rell; I blog because Drea has something to say...whether it be nonsense or thought provoking I still write.

Nobody writes trash.We all write what we want what we feel.If people read it and feel like commenting thats good ,if not then that shouldn't matter because you wrote it for you.

Look I enjoy my blog but it's not my life! I am way too fly for that! Trust.

I do like entertaining and informing people who visit my blog but mostly it's just for me.

I think some of you might have taken this this a little too seriously but thanks for the comments.

Ddot don't front. There is help out there, sweety. I had a friend once who was so depressed that people weren't leaving her enough comments on her blog. Let's just say, we had to hold a blog memorial for her :(. If there is any way I can help let me know, okay.

While on this topic, I've noticed I haven't gotten a comment from you in quite awhile, and you didn't take my personality quiz. I'm crushed. Bad king. :p

When I start to feel down as a writer, I read a Robert B. Parker novel. He's a NY Times best-seller who writes passably interesting stories with some of the worst prose ever written. I still remember his description of a frightened horse: "Jimbo reared and made horse noises." Horse noises? For the money he makes, the public deserves a little better.

it's all good. i agree with rell (GASP!)

do this for you. people will feel you or they won't, but as long as you feeling it, that's all that matters, really.

that said, a little praise ain't a bad thing. luckily for you, you've got the goods.
